  4. Let her cry….for she's a Lady….Let dream…for she's a child…Let the rain fall down upon her….she's a FREE and Gentle Flower Growing Wild:) I will always love this song, which inspired me at such a young age in the early 70's to embrace Slow Jams, Love Songs,…..I really enjoy ALL who have brought this classic out….New Birth, Color Me Badd, and even love Blake Shelton's version:) Such a Beautiful Song to me…I am A Free and Gentle Flower Growing Wild!

  5. This is what a live show is all about, no lip singing there, not like today's live show is all done by prerecording and lip singing the song, so people should stop thumbing down this live show and instead appreciate it. Performing a real live show like this one is not easy and for sure it sounded much different than the recorded one.

  6. STILL WATCHING THIS IN YEAR 3030! I AM FROM A DISTANT FUTURE…THIS IS THE ONLY REMAINING RECORD IN MY TIME! HELP!!! BRING BACK THE VANILLA ICE…

  7. One of the most beautiful songs of the 70's! A simpler time when we could actually enjoy a handsome black man with a great voice sing about a soft and feminine woman…without the PC culture and feminists breathing over our shoulders!

  8. I was born nowhere near the 70's when this song came out. I actually found out about this song from a drama airing this year as "Wildflower." I'm so glad that they're bringing back such good music from the 70's for youth like me to realize.

  9. DAMN! I didn't know the lead singer was so gorgeous! I'll feel extra special when I listen to this song from now on. This song is awesome! Just beautiful. I was a kid when this came out, and I loved hearing it on the radio. Some of the best music ever made came out of the 1970's.

  10. One of the all-time great ballads. I am not a musician but read in another YT thread that in the studio version the guitar was put through a process named "flanging" and that must've been impossible to do in a live perfomance. It surely sounds different on this live version. But still a fabulous Perfomance.
